The whole world is extremely concerned about the rare giant panda rescue and transfer work. due to the destruction of the natural balance, climate warming, fewer and fewer panda.
Panda is one of endangered animals, now only found in China, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, people began to conserve this endangered species. Today, the number of pandas has increased, but there is still a long way to go. Care for animals, is to protect human, we should be animals as man's best friend, to care, to protect them. Protection of animals is a duty of each person, let us work together to protect the giant pandas, giving them a good home.

The snake is a long and thin animal that lives in graor other dark places. A snake has no legs or feet, but it can move very fast on its stomach. Snakes usually have green, yellow or black skins, which make them difficult for their enemies to find them.Some kinds of snakes live in water. They can swim as freely as fish.
Snakes are cold-blooded animals. In winter they hibernatein holes which are narrow enough only to hold the snakes bodies. The snakes can sleep through a whole winter without eating and moving. They can not feel any pain. The
hibernation period lasts about five months. When spring comes, the snakes come out and begin their normal life.
Snakes can take many things as food, such as mice, sparrows, frogs,birds eggs, pests and so on. People sometimes can see a snake eat a sparrow. First it moves close to the sparrow, then it puts out its tongue and brings the sparrow into its mouth and swallows it, which makes a lump in the snake s body. After some time the lump disappears.
As snakes are dreadful-looking, people are afraid of them. Many people drive them away whenever they see snakes. But in Chinese fairy tales, snakes are by no means bad. They seem to have human feelings. They can change into pretty girls. People like and respect them. The most well-known is the story about the White Snake and the Blue Snake.
In fact, snakes are not as dreadful as they look. They can help us to kill mice and pests. They can provide us with delicious meat. Their blood is a good drink. Poisonous snakes are especially useful. We can make valuable drugs with them.

I am very glad to give a speech today.The topic of my speech is the animal.I always think that animals are the friends of our human beings.They are not so complicated as our people,and they can always bring us plenty of happiness and satisfaction.Since I was a child,I have been keeping animals,such as cats,dogs,ducks and so on.Sometimes I feel a little troublesome to feed them,but everytime I think about the happiness they have brought to my family,I will find that it is worth doing it in spite of so much hard working.You can imagine that,when you come home with your tired body,dogs are rushing at you and swinging their tails happily.That kind of warm feeling can be only brought by the pets.
Both the domestic animals and the wild animals are lovely.However,they are being treated cruelly by lots of people at present.I can't understand those people.You may not like animals,even you could hate them,but you have no rights to hurt them.Every life of the living creatures is equal.Every life of them has the right to live happily.Human beings mustn't hurt those innocent creatures for our personal desire.Animals regard us as their friends,so we should let them enjoy their happy lives too.Now,that is all of my speech today.Thanks for your listening.
